Colliers has strengthened its U.S. engineering operations with the acquisition of Ramos Consulting Services, a Pasadena, California-based firm specialising in program management, construction management, and engineering services for major public transit projects. Reported by Rory Butler.

Founded in 2008, Ramos CS employs 50 professionals and has contributed to over $20 billion (€16.95 billion) in capital programmes across transit, transportation, and public works in California. Under Colliers’ partnership model, Ramos CS’ senior leadership will continue to run the transit business while becoming significant shareholders in Colliers Engineering.
